Beetroot – Sugarbeet is a white-rooted beet producing large, conical roots with a high sugar concentration and crisp texture. It has a mild flavour without the typical red beet pigments, strong foliage and good cold tolerance.

Harvest & use: traditionally grown for sugar production, but also useful as stock feed and for cooking. Roots can be roasted, grated raw or used as a neutral-flavoured cooking beet. Average maturity for beetroot is around 55–70 days.
