Corn, Flour – Painted Mountain is a resilient multicoloured heirloom with red, blue, gold and cream kernels. It can be eaten young or matured and dried for flour and cornmeal, and is noted for handling harsh climates and poorer soils.
Packet size: approximately 25 seeds.
Sowing guide: space 20–30cm apart, rows 60–90cm apart, 2–3cm deep; best soil temperature 16–35°C. Planting: Tropics all year; Subtropics Aug–Mar; Mild Sep–Feb; Cold/Frost Oct–Jan. Sow after frost.
Certified Organic: Select Organic, ACO 10457.
