Corn, Maize – Oaxacan Green produces striking emerald-green kernels on plants around 1.6–1.8m. A historic southern Mexican flour corn used for tortillas and tamales, it is also highly ornamental and drought tolerant.
Packet size: approximately 25 seeds.
Sowing guide: space 20–30cm apart, rows 60–90cm apart, 2–3cm deep; best soil temperature 16–35°C. Planting: Tropics all year; Subtropics Aug–Mar; Mild Sep–Feb; Cold/Frost Oct–Jan. Sow after frost. Around 75–105 days.
