Cucumber – Japanese Climbing is a vigorous heirloom climber producing slender fruit around 20–25cm with tender skin, few seeds and mild sweet flavour. Train on a trellis for clean, straight fruit.
Sowing guide: space 40–60cm apart, rows 120–150cm apart, 1cm deep; best soil temperature 16–35°C. Planting: Tropics Feb–Sep; Subtropics Aug–Mar; Mild Sep–Feb; Cold/Frost Oct–Dec. Sow after frost.
Certified Organic: Select Organic, ACO 10457.
