A sweet, tender heirloom kale with grey-green, oak-shaped leaves and distinctive purple veins. Eden Seeds notes it is suitable for harvesting as baby leaf or at full size.

Certified Organic: Select Organic, ACO 10457.

Growing notes: Grow in cool conditions in sunny, well-drained soil and keep evenly watered. Kale is frost hardy and flavour can improve in cool weather.

Sowing guide: Plant 40–50cm apart, rows 50–100cm apart, sow around 1cm deep. Best soil temperature 8–30°C.

When to plant in Australia:
Tropics: Apr–Aug
Subtropics: Mar–Jun
Mild: Mar–Apr
Cold/Frost: Jan–Apr

Maturity: Baby leaf around 30 days; full size around 50–60 days.
