A very productive old European leek with large, thick creamy-white stems around 20cm long and 5cm wide, topped by dark green leaves. Eden Seeds lists maturity at approximately 95–110 days.

Packet: 200 seeds.

Certified Organic: Select Organic, ACO 10457.

Growing notes: Leeks like deep, rich soil. Hill soil around the stems as they grow to blanch the edible white portion, and keep plants evenly watered.

Sowing guide: Plant 10–15cm apart, rows 30–75cm apart, sow 0.5–1cm deep. Best soil temperature 8–30°C.
