A beautiful looseleaf lettuce valued for both flavour and colour. Australian Yellow produces very early, tender green leaves with a smooth texture, developing into large crinkled leaves with moderate resistance to bolting.

Packet: 200 seeds.

Growing notes: Lettuce prefers rich, well-drained soil close to neutral pH. It generally dislikes very hot conditions but can tolerate some shade.

Sowing guide: Plant 20–30cm apart, rows 35–50cm apart, sow about 0.6cm deep. Best soil temperature 8–27°C.
