A striking looseleaf lettuce with long, deeply lobed burgundy-red leaves forming a large compact rosette. The inner leaves develop reddish-bronze tones, and Eden Seeds notes that the variety handles heat well, is slow to bolt and grows quickly.

Growing notes: Lettuce prefers rich, well-drained soil near neutral pH. Keep plants evenly watered and use some shade where useful in hot conditions.

Sowing guide: Plant 20–30cm apart, rows 35–50cm apart, sow about 0.6cm deep. Best soil temperature 8–27°C.
