A fast-growing mustard green selected for its sharp, peppery flavour and particularly useful for microgreen production. Despite the name, this is not true wasabi (Wasabia japonica); it is a Brassica juncea mustard with a wasabi-like bite.

Growing notes: Mustard greens are quick-growing leafy vegetables that tolerate light frost. Harvest young for microgreens or grow on for larger leaves; cooking softens the characteristic mustard heat.

Sowing guide: Plant 35–60cm apart when growing to full size, rows 50–75cm apart, sow 0.5–1cm deep. Best soil temperature 10–35°C.

General maturity guide: Approximately 40–60 days when grown to mature greens; microgreens are harvested much earlier.
