A large yellow-brown onion with heavy skin, mild creamy-white flesh and good keeping qualities. Young plants can also be harvested as bunching onions.
Packet: 120 seeds.
Certified Organic: Select Organic, ACO 10457.
Sowing guide: Plant 5–10cm apart, rows 30–40cm apart, sow 0.5–1cm deep. Best soil temperature 8–30°C.
When to plant: Tropics Mar–Jun; Subtropics Feb–Jul; Mild Feb–Aug; Cold/Frost Feb–Sep.
