A classic pear-shaped butternut with light orange, dry, nutty-flavoured flesh and a small seed cavity. A vigorous, dependable keeper suited across Australia.

Packet: 25 seeds. Maturity: about 83–115 days.

Sowing: 90–120cm apart; rows 200–250cm; depth 2–3cm; soil 20–32°C. Tropics Feb–Sep; Subtropics Aug–Feb; Mild Sep–Dec; Cold/Frost Oct–Dec.
