Vetsense Cocciprol Water Soluble Powder 100g

For the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis in chickens, turkeys, ducks and pigeons.

Vetsense Cocciprol is administered through drinking water as an aid in controlling important strains of coccidiosis, including E. tenella, E. necatrix and most strains of E. acervulina.

Active ingredient: 200g/kg amprolium (as amprolium hydrochloride).

Directions for use

Using the supplied teaspoon: 1 level teaspoon = 3g; 1 rounded teaspoon = 5g.

Prevention: Larger flocks — 5g in 4L of drinking water. Smaller flocks — 2.5g in 2L. Administer for 24 hours every fourth day during periods of likely infection.

Treatment, stage 1: Larger flocks — 5g in 4L. Smaller flocks — 2.5g in 2L. Administer continuously for 5–7 days.

Treatment, stage 2: Larger flocks — 3g in 4L. Smaller flocks — 1.5g in 2L. After stage 1, administer continuously for another 5–7 days.

Premix the required amount into ½ litre of water until dissolved, then add the remaining water and mix thoroughly. Prepare a fresh solution daily.

Warnings

• Continual overdosing can cause loss of muscle condition and strength, including twisted necks and lameness.
• Do not administer B-group vitamins while treating with Cocciprol.
